help the neighbor or stay out of it? story inside...
so i think it was last august when i saw water running from the water connection to the house outside at the street. i called 311 and reported it. i wanted to make sure it wasn't our house. well the city came out and determined that it was our neighbors house and turned the water off. our neighbors are 60 years old roughly and i'm 99.9999% they rent. to this day it has not been fixed. they mentioned it would be about 7k for the city to come out and fix the pipe running from the street to the house. so if they ARE renting, why wouldn't the landlord take care of this? should i call the dept. of aging and tell them or should i stay out of it? i saw the guy getting water out of a neighbors hose today. i don't think they have had any water for almost a year now, well aug-now. should i just ignore or should i call somebody?

hell, i'd call the housing authority
if the landlord can't do their due diligence in getting a problem that major fixed in a timely manner, I'd have no guilt reporting them to the proper authorities...

i am in baltimore city, unfortunately.
i know the neighbor guy has been out of work recently due to a bad heart and his wife recently fell and is on a walker. just seems sad they don't seem to have any luck.

Call 7 on your Side!?!
I'm not trying to be a smart *** but they seem to eat that sh*t up these days. esp dealing with the elderly. that is of course if you don't see anything happen after you call the City about it!
