Default Hey guys, need a good body shop in the VA/MD area. I have insurance company suggestions, need help.

I have been to the tysons collision center and as far as I am concerned they are complete garbage. They repaired my car and painted it wrong, refused to replace the cracked radiator, and I had a good suspicion that they cracked my oil cooler. So, my experience with Tysons auto body was poor.

The insurance company gave me a list of shops that they work with in VA. Here it is:
1. Craftsman Auto Body
2. Tysons Collision
3. WT Auto body
4. Koons Auto body
5. Brownings Auto body
6. Quality Auto body

These are all VA based shops, i don't mind traveling to a good shop in MD if they work with state farm and do a good job. Ugh....This sucks

Default Do you know if they work with State Farm?

I heard wagon works is good as well but state farm does not cover the labor costs.

Default I just called them "Although they are not a select shop they Do work with state farm"

You may give them a call directly, (I have no affiliation with them as you know 703-836-6920)

Default You are NOT required to take your car to an insurance "recommended" shop!

Just take it to a place that you feel comfortable with. They'll deal with the insurance company.

Labor rate was too high, state farm wont cover the difference.
