Default Hey Guys need opinion on Coilovers...I have never messed with the realm of suspension

Im am about this close to pulling the trigger on some KW Varient 1 coilovers

Anyone running these

They are going on my 2006 A3<ul><li><a href="http://www.esetuning.com/KWSuspensions.asp">KW Coils</a></li></ul>

Default They make a good set of c/o's....DO IT!!! :)

I'm considering the PSS9s...height and damping adjustable, noice....

I had them on my A6 and the quality was superb. They were however MUCH firmer than expected.

We pretty much determined that this was from a major design flaw. They have a section right at that mount cut out for adjusting the suspension which creates a weak point.

Id go with something other than KW's but thats just because of my recent experience

I was referring to the quality of the materials (stainless) and apparent construction.

Default well from what I have heard the materials are actually part of the problem...

they use a type of stainless that is supposed to resist corrosion (which it does very well) however the steel they use is actually quite a bit weaker than the steel used by other companies such as H&amp;R, Billstein, etc...
