I GOT IT!!!!
'05 WRX sport wagon, 5 speed, Red. Factory "gunmetal-color" wheels. It had 10 miles on the odo when I drove it away. Out the door (with taxes, tags, and title) for $4K less than the window sticker AND a 6 year/ 60K mile warranty. If anything goes it's replaced ... turbo, trans, diff, even a climate control knobm, etc.
It's a suprising solid car. The way people talk about some japanese cars I wasn't expecting too much. But the dash feels solid, the materials used are pretty nice, and it has that "solid feel" when opening an closing doors, hood, trunk, etc.
The sales experience was a dream. The dealership is run very nicely. I talked to some people waiting to pick up cars from service and they couldn't say enough nice things about their experience there (so complimentary I got the feeling they were planted there!).
I'll post some pics tomorrow. I LOVE it. I love it and I haven't even taken it past 4K rpm yet. I may have to drive around in it all night.
