I've got a long, fun weekend ahead of me at the garage...
We've got a new project car in the garage... Blips Santorin A4. He's about to sell/trade it in and we're getting it ready.
Lots to do on it... demodding some parts, fixing/swapping the turbo. Lot's of spare parts that will go on my car.... (Mocal Oil Cooler, AWE DTS, Audi Sport mats and liner, new EVO FMIC, Pc.16 ecu and fueling kit, Samco hoses, Euro Wipers, and maybe even harnesses.)
Anyway, back to work, feel free to stop by if you want to help/provide liquid refreshment :-)
To Do on Blip's A4:
-Remove front bumper (Done)
-Remove FMIC and Samco hoses (Done)
-Remove paint from FMIC (Done)
-Drain oil (Done)
-Remove exhaust (Done)
-Unbolt turbo (Done)
-Remove PC.16 ECU (Done)
-Remove fuel rail with injectors and AFPR (Done)
-Remove dual Scroth harnesses (Done)
-Remove mats and trunk liner (Done)
From Zodiak's A4: (Mid-Week)
-Remove AWE DTS (Done, what a pain)
-Remove Euro Wipers (Done)
-Remove Porsche brakes (Done)
-Put back to stock (Just have the stereo, plate frame, rear sway left.) (Done)
-Remove short shifter (Cancelled, old push-down style)
-Minor electrical fixes (Done)
-Rear deck speakers (Done)
On my A4:
-Adjust passenger headlight adjustment. (Done)
-Mount/balance 18's (Done)
-Swap fuel rail (Done)
-Swap FMIC'S (Done)
-Cut bumpers to fit FMIC (Done)
-Refurbish and paint DTS (Done)
-Install AWE DTS (Done)
-Swap wipers (Done)
-Swap Mats (Done)
-Install harnesses (Done)
-Correct airbag resistors (Done)
-Roll fenders some more (Done for now)
-Install stud kit and mount wheels (Done)
-Skin and sand bumper (DONE!)
-Install Mocal Oil Cooler and do Oil Change (Done)
Next Weekend:
-Cut wheel liners back (Friday)
-Reroll left fender (Friday)
-Bracket for Oil Cooler (Friday)
-Install Samco Hose Kit (Friday)
-Put in NGK BKR7E's (0.032) (Saturday)
-Sand headlights (Skinned) (Saturday)
-Prep for body swap (Saturday)
-Friggin resistors? (Saturday)
-Install pedals (Saturday)
-Marque Show (Sunday)

UPDATE: Blip's turbo is out and it looks like it took a crap...
Here's the <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/2684394.phtml">post in the A4 Forum</a>... the plastic/rubber diaphram of the wastegate actuator melted, making the wastegate stick closed, which then created back pressure that would stall out the engine and cause it to be very difficult to drive.
Other than that things are going fine over here, starting to wind down for the night... tomorrow will be bodywork day, along with some part swaps while we wait for the turbo to get fixed.
