Just found out that my boat marina is still selling gas for $2.99!!! Weekend not ruined.
I called to make sure they had not taken advantage of the situation and bumped gas to $5/gallon (which they could do). I'm planning an 80 mile round tripper Saturday that should take me 3+ hours, at 15 gallons per hour. At least there is some restraint being exercised!
(For the record, I do feel like a dirtbag worried about my 45 gallon weekend while all heck is breaking loose in New Orleans.)

Sorry I never responded to you email about your boating plans this weekend.
I'm not really familiar with that area by boat. I've only done it once.
I might have to fuel up mine this weekend too. I might head to "your" marina if the one I normally hit up has raised its prices. Mine holds 120 gal of fuel. That can make for one heck of a wallop on the wallet.
