I'm noticing a distinct trend with American auto companies...
The trucks they make sell much better than the cars. Maybe they should cut their losses...I hardly see Sebrings, PT's, Neon's, Cobalts, Impala (aside from gov't vehicles), et al, on the road, but plenty of Rams, Suburbans, Tahoes, etc

Agree, prefer the trucks. Especially the diesel ones. However...
they each do make a car or two that I wouldn't mind owning.
Chrysler - Viper, Challenger SRT
Ford - GT, Shelby GT500
GM - Corvette, perhaps new Camaro similar to GT500

Right, but look at the cars you listed, and figure out what percentage of all car sales
they comprise. I'd bet not much (granted they probably will sell a lot of V6 Mustangs, Challengers, Camaros). The US auto manufacturers need like a good selling volume car, something comparable to the Rabbit/3-series/A4 in Europe. The big three do make a handful of good cars (I concur with what you listed), but in reality, they represent a small portion of the overall offerings.
IDK, I'd buy an American car if they made something worth buying [I'll admit that I do like the Ford Fusion and Crown Vic (I know, I know lol)]
