Quick Recap of the DTMPower/Teckademics weekend in Pittsburgh...
I left Friday afternoon heading to Pittsburgh for the weekends events. A local performance shop had invited out Teckademics and Dado for a weekend at the track. Dado was able to get some good practice in for this season, and Teckademics was able to show those who had never been able to go to the track before just how fun it is.
XMZ Motorsports had contracted with BeaveRun to have free access to the track, autocross, and off-roading courses for all of us. Great time, I'll let my pictures tell the story. However, they're not up yet due to a chain of breakdowns, which left several of the cars un-roadworthy... A Camaro with LS1 swap spun a bearing, a turbo MR-2 popped a caliper piston, and finally, the Hummer that we called in to help tow one of the cars back ended up being disabled on the side of the PA turnpike from a electronically frozen differential.
All in all a great weekend, while Pittsburgh leaves something to be desired with it's club scene, the people were friendly, and the track conditions decent most of the day. The dually dynoed at 638 ft. lb's on the mustang dyno, which puts it at around 850 ft lb's of torque at the crank... Not bad for a truck with chip and exhaust.
Here's Dustin's writeup of the first section. I'll hopefully post the pics in the next 2 days.

what clubs did you like? dislike?
where'd you mostly venture? south side? strip district? downtown?
south side is full of really unique and insteresting bars/pubs/and a few clubs (that might be gone now). the strip district seems to be more popular though.
its been a little bit since i've tried the nightlife there... but i used to be out every other weekend or so.

pittsburgh has become a nice place to visit, now that i no longer live there ;-)
just stay away from tequila willie's... ::shudder::
that place reminds me of "seacrets" in ocean city, but it's not as much fun :-P
