K so remember we were talking about the amber reflector had to be somewhere on the car? This was for MD btw.

What about the rs6? https://forums.audiworld.com/rs6/msgs/1664.phtml

Nice avant with no amber at all. Unless i am blind, i can't see it.

SO... how doe this work? Cop pulls that over and you just say its a german car, they're stil going to give you a ticket for not meeting the laws in the US?

I am so into the clear euros but i just wanna know how ppl are getting out of trouble when trouble comes.

Default German or US made, they all have met DOT reg's, and states respect that.

Anything done outside of how the car comes over on the boat is up in the air, however.
But if the car is able to be imported, then it is street legal to drive.

Default Also - the images you link to are Euro spec cars, as Avants are not in the US.. correct?

Thus, throw the images out of the equation and get some pics of the US spec RS6

Default Unless they have DOT approval #s on them, you *can* be fined. However,

I know tons of people who run clear housings with amber bulbs and don't have a problem. That was in Florida, but I can't imagine how you could actually get a ticket for that..
Most likely, it would be a non-moving violation, where you "fix" it and get it signed off and it is $5, even if you did get a ticket for it.

If they are Euro, then no... Do they say "for off road use only"?

Default You can always just double side some on your bumper for inspection and then remove...

BMWs and Mini just have them tacked onto the bumper with their OEM clear turn housing on sport packages.
