yup, the smell of old plastics aging...
my 4k reeks of it, but it's not offensive enough for me to worry about it. I think of it as character 
Either mask it w/ the lovely taxi cab pine tree rearview mirror mints, or get the lil car fabreeze stuff (if it's stuck in the fibers, tha tmight work), get a bottle of "new car smell", or like Drew said... gut the bitch

Porsche tech said today, "This car's too nice to turn into a track car."
Other than the charming smell, the interior is literally pristine. So if I decide I need a stripped, caged 944, I'll sell this and buy a stripped,, caged 944.

Works for me. Hey, I've been driving the "44, and you better look out.
She's got a bitchin' mid-range!!! There must be a K&N filter in there, 'cause my third gear runs are off the charts!!!
