Speeding camera on route 100 at I-95
Just thought I'd let y'all know about this. I got a letter in my mail today with a picture of my car going 73 ina 55 on route 100 eastbound at I-95. Not a ticket, but a warning to make me aware of Project ADVANCE (aka our armed tax collectors are too lazy to catch ya the old fashioned way).

phew... hope VA doesn't go down that path...
just have to be more careful now in MD. I swear, speeding cameras are such BS. THey totally do not take into account the situation. You put those on a highway, and you'll have tons of congestion because nobody in the left lane will be going faster than folks to his right, so even in light traffic huuuge packs will form.

Yea.. it is a mobile unit... actually a Ford Bronco or similar... it locks you on radar and takes a pic. I assume the pic was a frontal pic of your car right?

Yup, two pics...
First is one with a target over my car viewed from the front displaying the speed, the second a shot from behind to get my tag. Not there anymore, just went the same route earlier, didn't get any hits on the V1.
