I appreciate you coming by today to hang out while I was getting XM installed.

After a four hour install, it's done. I like it a lot. In just the one hour drive home, I am wondering how I ever did without XM...no commercials is nice.

If anyone's still on the fence about sat radio, trust me, you'll be happy when you get it.

The new "micro antenna" as XM calls it requires that it have 6" of metal around it on each side. Well it is about 6" forward of the rear window and the designers thought it would be good to leave the exposed wire rather than come up with some way to cover it up.

I have to figure out some sort of solution to either cover that exposed wire, or I will just move the micro antenna to the very end of the roof, pull the wire in, and will have 6" of metal around 3 sides of the antenna.

BTW, the antenna is about 1" x 1" so it's not bad. It is just that the exposed wire ruins the whole thing.
