i tried jumping it last night, that was my second thought... wasn't it
and the battery has 11.77 volts before i crank it...
i'm a bit lost now, i looked at all the driver side spark plugs and they were all wet and smelled like fuel... which is telling me at least the driver side isn't getting spark...

Can you gat a vag-com scan done? Was any recent work done under the hood?
Sounds like you've been chasing a compressor problem...what has been done in the last day/week?
Also, a dead/dying battery can play weird games...if it's the original one, might be time for a replacement. Also, it showing close to 12v means nothing...you need to load test it. Good luck.

well, while the car is cranking (held key to start not longer than 3 seconds) everything would go
dim in the car...
the only thing that has been done to the car was an oil change about 2 weeks ago... i just don't understand why the car started fine, 10-15 minutes later NOTHING... i'm so heated right now...
after i looked at all the spark plugs, i noticed they were all wet with fuel, which is telling me that it isn't getting a spark... or am i wrong on that???
i only looked at the driver side bank though, too cold to **** with that damn air box cover... i'll try more tomorrow night, depending on what time i get home from the in-laws...
thanks for the responses...

if everything goes dim after 3 sec of cranking that is sign of bad battery
I would take it to parts store and have it tasted before doing anything else..
