Default Dear Fellow Audi Members and Friends of Prairie Hills Motorsport Club

Dear Fellow Audi Members and Friends of Prairie Hills Motorsport Club,
This Tuesday night, the 28th of August, will be one of the most important nights for Prairie Hills Motorsport Club, since we began this adventure some 26 months ago. The Zoning Board for Newton County, Indiana is holding an open meeting, where we will be making a request for the approval of the Prairie Hills Motorsport Club development. We are preparing an informational presentation for our audience, which includes both local government officials as well as the general public, in an effort to exhibit what Prairie Hills, along with its members and its guests, will be.
As you are aware, track developments face a number of roadblocks. The most difficult to surpass are: noise and light pollution, environmental concerns, and traffic. With due respect to our neighbors concerns, as well as the community at large; we have developed a number of programs aimed at satisfying these issues. We are utilizing tree lines, berms, and walls, to suppress noise from the track to the surrounding community. We have limited our track hours of operation, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., thereby eliminating light pollution. We are completing EPA approved plans for the proper disposal of rubbish, hazardous materials, and recyclables, in addition to returning the interior of the property to natural, Indiana prairie grasses wherever possible and are planning to take every necessary step to see that traffic is not a problem.
We have spoken to a number of business owners, members of Chambers of Commerce, and Government Officials, in our effort to present an accurate depiction of whom and what Prairie Hills is, and the financial opportunities that exist for our neighbors. While it has been a pleasure meeting all of these folks, we have encountered some individuals who have expressed concerns regarding the development of Prairie Hills not only for the issues previously mentioned, but simply because it is a "change". Despite the fact that we are putting in place many programs, while playing a significant role to further enhance the community, these folks might be detractors that will come to the meeting and speak in opposition of our development. While we welcome all concerns and will address and act upon them accordingly we also are asking you, our supporters to express your views.
Please bring your support and help push us over the edge in this stage of development. This is an excellent opportunity for you to be a key player in the building of the longest automotive performance style track in the country, right in your own backyard.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 28th, 8:00 PM at the Morocco Government Center in Morocco, Indiana. The address is 4117 S 240 W Morocco, IN 47963, 219-285-0653. Please come to the meeting and stand up to support your club. Better yet, bring a friend or resident of the Newton County Area who might step forward with support as well.
Thanks in advance for your support. If you have any questions, please call the office, 219-394-2600. Rob Lindgren or I will be happy to provide directions or information. We look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,
Michael Krupka, Jason Sersen, Jason Benson and the entire team of Prairie Hills Motorsport Club
