when I had my 97 3000GT VR4, the best thing about owning that car was the UMG (upper midwest gathering) they had every year up in the Wisconsin Dels. It was over a whole weekend in May. Everyone stayed at the same hotel, there were cookouts, bonfires, pizza joint nights, an auto show, go karts, and the best part, a cruise in the twisty roads around the Dels area...which are awesome roads i might add. The people weren't exactly the kind of people I would normally hang around, but they were still cool and it was a lot of fun.

Anyway i was just wondering if there was anything like that for Audi owners in the midwest?

No, seriously, I have no idea, it'd be fun. I used to go to Neon meetups... one night of drag racing, one day of road course racing, one day of road rally time challenge things, go karts, bbq, etc. Fun times!

We have the below event happening next month , memorial day weekend.. Its just a day gathering to enjoy cars and sites and food.. Nice drive.. Starting at the Mackinac Bridge and driving to Whitefish point on lake superior then to Tahquamenon falls for a bite to eat and them leave when you want... Just for the day, no registration costs.. Keeping it low key and low expense...

sounds like fun...unfortunately, Mackinaw City is about 9 hours from me. So i doubt i'll make it up there. Thanks for the invite though!
