HELP EMERGENCY!
I dont know if you all read my last post about the transmission acting weird on my 1990 Audi 100 but took it to the delearship and they said its going bad...like on its last leg. So is there any way we can fix it or keep it for at least another year? Or maybe I could buy a used transmission for a 1990 Audi 100, it would probably be less than a new one, which delear said maybe be about 4 or 5 thousand if that sounds right to anyone?? Well what should I do? Fix? Try to get a used car? Advice time please any information would be greatly appreciated.
The bone yards in Southern California have a LOT of 100s. I've got Four Pristine Leather seats I've collected the past 4 months. Maybe you can call around the bone yards and see if they can ship one.
If you're in the market He has a 98 A4 1.8 Liter Quattro Turbo with 25K for 15K. A real beaut.
If you're not in Southern California I wish you luck.
Shop around for a reputable independent Audi mechanic in your area. Mine will rebuild the tranny for about $900. Then it's good for another 250K miles!
