How do I program the remote for '96 A6Q?

I purchased a remote control for my A6Q. Discovered the manual doesn't state how to initialize it. Can someone help me or point me where to get info?<p>Thanks<p>Henrik Danford-Klein

My A6q has the programable remotes, with the flip out key, provided by the factory. That said, there is a section in the manual on programing these remotes;, and basically, what you do is get the seat set the way you want it, along with the exterior mirrors, and then sequentially hold down the desired mem. button on the car and then the remote open button, holding them both for about ten seconds, you should hear a slight click, and that's it.<br>Cheers<br>Pat
