'81 tic-tac

Hey, i was wondering about the alternator in my car. Right now i have the stock 65 amp alternater and its not charging like it should. I found a 90amp which would fit my model Audi. But is it ok to just switch alternaters and nothing else? Do i need to change wires, or the voltage regulator perhaps? thanks for any help!

Also if you have any parts for this car id probably like to buy pretty much what you have to offer... Thanks!
