power window regulator?

power window regulator?
Arrgh, I knew this was probably coming sooner or later. Yesterday, after putting the windows up, there was grease in the middle part of the window. Today, the window would go up about 4/5 of the way up and quit. Can't go down or up. I can hear the motor going, but the window doesn't move. It's the regulator, right? Anyway I can DIY fix, or is a visit to the dealer in my future? Any things I can check myself and general advice?
