Update....
1.) reverse light switch - replaced (NOT easy)
2.) brake light switch - replaced
3.) still has problem starting when cold
4.) center differential doesn't appear to be locking... I click the switch to position 1 and the light doesn't come on... also antilocks don't shut off (they're supposed to) anyone have any ideas on this one? vacuum servo? switch?
All in all the car is coming together... not bad for $1000... still needs front shocks, front right wheel bearing, cold start fixed, and now the center differential problem...
ABS on an 86? I thought that came about in 89. Oh well, make good friends with the junkyard man.
Two tips: never by a fuel pump from a junkyard. DO buy one when the pump starts to buzz The 5000 pumps are very easy to change, but sticking your hand in an ice cold gas tank sucks like you cannot believe. If you haven't guessed, they go often.
