UPDATE:
The car is a 1986 cs turbo
* it starts hot and cold with the first click
Yesterday, it ran fine for the first 20 minutes than came the first noticeable hesitation under acceleration that became increasingly worse. A bit more pedal pressure and it gave the impression of starvation.
*the fuel relay does not get hot
*I bridged the relay after the drive ... the pump does not make a healthy sound (various noise levels)
? would the pump weaken after 20 minutes of use - and act like this??
? The injector cooling fan - where is the thermo-switch (sensor) located??
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
