Default O...M...G!!! The new literbikes this year are RIDICULOUS!

Look at the fvckin' ZX-10R...those are stock numbers! My '04 dynoed 167hp to the rear wheel with a Power Commander (and custom tune), BMC race filter, and exhaust. I'm a little disturbed to think what I could get a '08 put down *shaking head*.

BTW, NOBODY would ever NEED one of these bikes...lol. Dammit...I want another one though.

Default Lol...exactly. Honestly...

...I'll bet not one person who has bought a literbike here can even get close to 90% of what the bike is capable of.

Default Yeah, I looked at that again and realized how insanely high it was. Oops =/

I agree with you 100% as well. Actually, I could probably say the same thing about the 600cc customers. Maybe bump it to 60%, though ; )

Default Oh definitely...

...that dyno is Sport Rider's who are in California. They don't tweak their numbers, but I know of a few shops around here that definitely do =P There's a local guy who actually takes the filter out and the lid off the airbox. Or he takes the oil out of the filter. Pretty ridiculous.

Did you read Sport Rider's 0-180 test? The Kawi was insane.

Default correction, it was Cycle World mag. The Kawi did just a tad over 17sec.

They did a whole bar chart comparison of the main liter bikes and a modified Ford GT. This was the July issue so I assume that next month it will be available online to read on their website. I wish I didn't toss it out, but oh well.
