Default local chap - $800 for the set. drove and picked up yesterday.

he bought them and never installed.

i think i at least saved about $60 per rim as i've seen some prices on the web at around $260 per rim.

it seems to be a popular rim for AutoX because of it's lightweight.

these will just be for the track (HPDE and DE).

Default No better price than thetireshoppe.com.

They don't have online inventory, you have to do it the old fashioned way on the phone but it's worth the call. I get a set of 255/40R17s shaved and delivered for under $700.

http://www.thetireshoppe.com</a

Default awesome rims...

will look FUGLY on silver <ducks and smiles>

Planning on attending two/three events, at least, next year, depending on the bonus payout here, will come around January....

Might be last time, as Mrs' hasn't secured funding yet, which means no more toy for daddy after September'05,...oh well, gets me brownie pts for saving money, and closer towards (designated) track vehicle once she's done with her PhD.

Default Try out some Dunlop Super Sport Race from tire rack...

Seen a number of people commenting on them. Similar wear characteristics and grip to the RA1s.

225/45/17s = 119 bucks
245/40/17s = 120 bucks

Mostly im just trying to get you to be a guinea pig for us.
