Does anyone know about the racing schools at Moroso? I can't decide on which school, does anyone have any insight?
thank you.

Default None.

I hate that place, sorry. I would say head to Sebring if you're in the area and do a Skip Barber school. My .02

Default 3rd. I'd look into Sebring, or others. Moroso is run down and not that exciting anyway...

but it was exciting trying to take photographs and looking back every 5 seconds for the alligators that supposedly patrol the nearby swamps i was warned about... or not. :-/ yikes.

Default Re: 4th. Moroso is a pit, I'm surprised that it's still around

Problem is that I'd rather stay in the area...I just need someone that has something positive to say about the race schools on the track...anyone elese?

Jim Russell at Sears Point or Bondurant @ Rattlesnake AZ, Barber best choices.

Default Sebring is 2-3 hours two away, at most, IIRC. Moroso is a $hithole.

Go to Sebring. Skippy etc. run schools there.

Default A longer drive or even a flight for a "5 star" school is worth it if you're serious.

If you just want to learn to go fast, sign up for a local DE event.

Default LOL.. u guys r funny.. trashing Moroso.. ;)>>>>>

j/k.. BTW.. Skippy goes to Moroso.http://www.skipbarber.com/racing_school/three_day_racing.aspx. by far the best school you could go to.. I've worked for Skippy there a bunch, and raced there a few times too. Honestly , sure it's not too polished, but the track itself is a good place to learn. Esp. in a formula car, some interesting corners, made even moreso by the slipperiness sp?? LOL
