Default Need in car vids of Infineon (Sears Point)...going to make my SCCA Pro Racing debut

I finished working out the details today for a chance to drive a World Challenge Touring Car at the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma in two weeks. I've never been there before so I need some in car videos to help out. Anyone got any?

I'll be driving the #49 Green Filter Racing Honda Civic for Branden Peterson Racing. Branden is a friend of mine here in CO and will be driving the car in Saturday's race and I will be driving in Sunday's race, which will be LIVE on Speedvision. I'm so excited! And, it's an ALMS weekend, which is gonna be SWEET to watch.

Any help is much appreciated!

Rick

Default good luck! I've had Kird, who is a rookie this year in a BMW 325, has an instructor. nice guy, good

driver. I hope he does well too.

I think MidOhio was his first race.

A quick Google search found this:<ul><li><a href="http://www.speedventures.net/videos.asp">http://www.speedventures.net/videos.asp</a</li></ul>

Default Thanks Steve!

I'll get in touch with him this week and see what I can figure out. How's things? Coming to CO anytime soon? You going to be at the ALMS race?

Default Here's a DE lap from a few months ago.

Track pavement is the same but since then they've added a bridge at Turn 1 so it's a little narrower (but much better than the old bridge). You can see the abutments under construction in the vid.

Turn 7 hairpin will also be probably different. Last year ALMS and Speed classes ran the "Budweiser Bottleneck." You'll see it on the Infineon website trackmap.

Hope this helps.<ul><li><a href="http://www.jeepvideos.com/mpeg/040418sp-s5l9.mpg">Open lap of Sears 22 MB (warning: driver sucks)</a></li></ul>

You can also "drive" the track in the Nascar video games...
