Default There was a TCRA event at Buttonwillow...

...but I think QuattroGirl was referring to the NASA event at Sears Point.

She's got a nice weight advantage on most of us, don't ruin it for her... :-)

Default Autox on Sunday...maybe...

I'm thinking of doing NASA on Saturday and then the autox on Sunday...particularly if it's raining at Laguna Seca.

Default Is our room gonna be a KK fest?

Please noooooo... I've such a weakness for donuts. An old girlfriend used to say, "RUN from donuts." Get it? "Run?" As in exercise... She always thought that was funny but I've never been sure.

See ya soon,
Rich

Default Nop, Sears Point - NASA had open track Sat & Sun..

For "open track", they take what used to be groups 3 & 4 in a normal HPDE (high perf driver ed) and combine them, with passing everywhere on the track, and let us all "go for it". No instructors required (none usually available either), but detailed download sessions follow every on-track session. We all yapped about "what we learned about the rain line" each time, and I got a little round of applause for having a "controlled off" in the Turn 8 series called the Esses, and for being the only "group 2 student" brave enough to be out there yesterday. It was hair-raising to say the least. I haven't come down off the high of driving tho- not until after this weekend at Laguna!

The KK's were the BEST but yikes all I needed was SUGAR when I was already amped up to drive..... wheeee!
