Pic of 4 deuling Porsche's at Summit Point this week...

I know this pic doesn't include any Audi's, but it was at this past week's QCUSA Summit Point event so it's not totally off-topic. I was out taking some video & digicam shots of one of the instructor's run groups, and it turned out that these four Porsche's got together and ran for most of the 20-minute run like this, passing any Audi's they came across (hey, whaddaya want--the 996's have what... 400hp?) I'm in the process of capturing my video footage of the 2-day event now and will post it on my website shortly, but meanwhile I thought you tracksters would appreciate this pic. They're probably going 100MPH at this point, and hit about 130MPH later down this straight. Sweeeet...

Nice pic, can't wait to see more.
I once had the pleasure of going up against a Dodge Viper ACR at Summit Point. He blew right past my S4 like it was standing still. All I could do was watch. Man those cars are fast.
2000 Nogaro S4

It was blue with two white stripes; I thought it was an ACR, but I could be wrong.
Whatever it was, it was fast!
2000 Nogaro S4

Yup, that's them
Well driven and well prepped.
I've had one of them as a BSR instructor before. Pretty good, but I sure did make him nervous in the rain (old pavement). Instructors must say a prayer just before they climb into a student's car...

They can be passed...
One of the fun highlights of the Tracquest event at Thunderhill was Rich L and I passing a few 996s in our Avants. Of course, we knew the track and they didn't, so this only lasted for the first two sessions or so. After that I had to keep a good eye on the rear view mirrors. :-(

996's are only 295 hp.... not quite 400. but they do only weigh < 2900#'s
