Is it really bad to auto-x or track 18" wheels?
I just bought a set of 18" BBS RXs. I was planning to sell my stock 16" wheels because I have NO place to store them.
I will probably do like a half dozen auto-crosses and maybe a couple driving schools in the next year.
Is it bad to do this with 18s? Are they likely to get damaged?
I would keep my stock wheels but I would literally need to get some storage space somewhere. I have no place I can keep them.
Thanks.

Probably less damage on an AutoX than everyday street driving, but the tires are $$$ :)
You'll probably end up with 245 Hoosiers if getting race tires. And lightweight 18's are even more bling bling bling.

Right now I use my 18" RXs ...no problems :)
But I will get dedicated 17"s for the track any day now (superleggeras).
