With the S do you think it would hurt to have diff tires front to back for autox?

I have corded two of my Kumhos. I'll get pics to show how only the second band (out of 4)wore out. Soo much tread left on the rest of the tire.

I always wondered how the S4 would handle with wide tires up front and narrow tires in the back
If you ran 255s up front and 225s in the rear would it reduce some of the understeer.

S4's in the World Challange GT class ...
.
are allowed a max width of 265/35-18 in the front, and 245/40-18 in the rear.
I don't know if they actually use wider tires in the front, but it would definitely reduce understeer.

A bit stickier? Much sticker, lighter, and faster wearing.
Pop your eyballs out stickier. I'm a firm proponent of matching the tire to the weight. But I would go with either the same tire, but in mixed ratios, or fairly similar compounding.
