Re: Great run Stasis, congrats on the podium finish.
Looks like we lost a timing belt in Justin's car.
More diagnosis happens early monday morning.
Thanks for watching the race!

Your car looked really good in the wet.
It looked very suited to the conditions and well planted. Really good to see quattro cars competiting on asphalt tracks..
I have to ask some questions since your online here, and wouldn't want to pass up this opportunity..
Your machines are they NA 3.0 liter or is it a 2.8 engine? Are you able to pick up some of the factory audi performance suspension parts from the Touring Car A4 Quattros back in the late 90s prior to them being banned?
Whats your feel on the A4s competitiveness against the 330s? Any chance on moving to a B6 platform in the next year or so?

Re: Your car looked really good in the wet.
Thanks for the post and questions. I'll try and tackle some of the questions but STaSIS may need to chime in as well.
We are running the 2.8 12 valve motor. It's a lighter motor, a little easier to develop and something that the team has been working on for several years to get to be a competitive motor.
All the suspension parts on the race car are STaSIS parts. The car I ran at Mosport and Lime Rock has the "Motor Sport" suspension kit from STaSIS on it.
<a href="http://www.stasisengineering.com/suspension.shtml">www.stasisengineering.com/suspension.shtml</a>
The brakes on the race car are also all STaSIS. We run the "Track Sport" front brake kit and the "Motor Sport" rear brake kit. 6 piston calipers aren't allowed in World Challenge.
<a href="http://www.stasisengineering.com/braking.shtml">www.stasisengineering.com/braking.shtml</a>
Regarding Audi v. BMW - in World Challenge Touring Car the BMWs are all 325s (a few 328s) because max engine size is 2.8 liters and the A4 is indeed competitive after a lot of work from the team to get these cars developed.
As far as moving to the B6 platform I don't think there are any current plans for that but that and other options are being explored. The A4 chassis we run now still has several years left in WC and there are lots of interesting things happening with Audi besides the B6 chassis.
Thanks again!

one clarification on the suspension
...the dampers in the Touring Car are on the Motorsports product section, and are similar to the "Motor Sport" coil over, but not the exact same product:
