Default Get all the mud off yet ?

Saw Kemp pushing his 4K on the trailer on Saturday morning as I was headed off to Asaph...I guess they dropped/burned (?) a valve on the practice stage. Quite a bit of attrition.

That was me at mile ~6.1 on Stage 7/10, "Mid Pipeline", big white van all by myownsef out in the woods as part of the Comms system in the radio black hole. I noticed you didn't wave, or stop by for coffee. Your loss.

Congrats on the finish.

I borrowed a pressure washer last night to get all the grunge off.

Default Jon's

crew knocked on the door at around midnight Friday to see if we had a spare exhaust valve lying around. Unfortunately we didn't.

We told them to head back home and pick one up. They said they had one on the bench, and it should have been around a 2-21/2 hour drive. I don't know what happened overnight.

They said that around 1/3 of the valve was gone. I'm not sure why that could have been that bad. I would've figured they could have cought it sooner, not that it would have mattered at that point.

Only 2 Audi's started, one finished. I'm not sure what happened to the TT.

Default TT came by me on SS7 at around 8:30PM...

...belching white smoke and going really slow. I think they stopped at Spectator 7 and sniffed a little, then finished the Stage at a crawl. Chatter on the radio net was that it was a head gasket, which is what is sorta smelled like when it went by me.

I think they retired at the end of 7.

Default My neurons have finally joined up...

Duh...you guys know Sager, aka Tim the Undie King ? I share certain automotive/racing landmarks with him and his family (I twice owned "the worlds most resilient race car", a Scirocco which his dad once flipped and Tim raced a few times..but it's not the Scirocco that he has now). I think he email mumbled something about helping you guys out.

Probably going to Holland Speedway to heckle him, and watch the "School Bus Figure 8" races. There will be drinking involved.

Default Hmmm...

The were a few others who helped out. Jim Kuhn's(sp) his wife Jennifer, and a couple of other guys were there. I don't know who the other guys were, should've asked their names I guess.

Where are you from anyway?

I just picked up a flyer for "Bugs in the Garden" July 12th at the Rose Garden. It's a VW/Audi GTG.

Default Mazda sound ?

I'm outside of Rochester. Would you be the "Jordan's", which is what I assumed after viewing the STPR entry ?

July 12-13 I'll be testing the Armco at Watkins Glen....SCCA Nat'l weekend and all that.
