He was holding them up, of course!
Well, not necessarily.... some of those old 70's cars, B210s and Pintos, in NASA really give everyone a hard time. Excellent drivers make subpar cars look good. Lets put it this way.... A well driven GT3 Pinto...
...would smoke nearly everthing out on the track. If it was on slicks, there is probably no street 911 or BMW that could hang with it. GT3 Pinto's turn 2:19's at Watkins Glen. Yesterday at the SCCA Nationals at the Glen, the winning T1 Viper (Nat. Champ Eric Heuschle's ex-Viper) was turning 2:17's.<p>Pinto's may be ugly, but they're beautiful when they're fast.<p>J/TSR
