Default Anyone want to do 2.7t TB job?

My 02 S4 is coming up on 80k and I was planning on picking up the TB kit from ECS and having Brian's in Needham do the work. Does anyone local do this on the side? I'd definitely lend a hand and hopefully learn something if anyone wants to take this on.

Default Suggestion: Contact the folks over at NAAC, they organized a timing belt-a-thon last year...

..for 2.8 engines only for that event, but I think they were considering opening up the event for other motors. One of the local shops "hosts" and gives access to lifts and tools.

Might be worth mentioning to see if this can happen again this year.

Default actually last year at Lee's consited of 2 1.8T and 1 2.7T motor. I assume the

2.8 is similar to the 2.7T. I did mine there and it was lots of fun. I'll probably go back if Lee hosts another one to help out and let jr. Casa go for a ride on the "go couch"

Default This would be rad. Mine's coming up. Greg said: "cam tensioner seals are starting to leak"

I would LOVE to a) save some serious cheddar by doing it myself -- going back to school this fall and will be poor, b) learn how to do it myself, c) have some oversight so I don't, ummm, render my ride inoperable (see a).
