Default Thanks Everyone

I found this on New York's DMV website:

"Out-of-state traffic violations: Except for Ontario and Quebec, points are not added to your NYS driver record if you commit an out-of-state traffic violation. Points can appear on your NYS driver record if you commit a traffic violation in Ontario or Quebec."

Needless to say, I mailed the check today and am just going to forget about this. Now looking into a V1 and Ladar jammers on ebay - just what a recent graduate who can't find a job needs, more mods on the list...

Default clarification...

That info you found on NY DMV is for NY drivers, not for drivers in MA. It does not address if the information will be shared with other states, only that other states will not count against your NY record (if you are a NY-licensed driver).

You might want to check the MA RMV website, but my guess is that nowadays, all states share all info.

Default My tickets in MA have never showed up on my CT license

Just some misc info to add:

I've had enough of them over time in both states, and changed insurance enough times that they've checked, and never have the MA tickets shown up in CT.

I've fought about every ticket and had them dropped at least in half.

All of my CT tickets have shown up on my driving record in CT, which insurance has access to.

Some insurance companies only check your record when you become a member, not at every renewel, etc.
