Took out factory airboxes and had a custom fabbed intake put in. Dual 7" by 5" cone filters, unrestrictive stainless steel mesh. At 22k miles, factory filters had CAKED ON dirt, leaves, grime, wow, don't believe the bs about waiting until 55k to do air filters. Change every 15k miles I say, if you're interested in power and fuel economy.

Eliminated factory flex hose for straight aluminum pipe, with soft 22 degree bend.

Custom heat shield and cold air ram scoop/duct to tie bumper ducts to top of cones not installed yet.

I ran the car on the street, wow, best bang for the buck ever, probably 3-4 times the noticeable power improvement over dyno tuning the ecu and milltek exhaust. I couldn't believe it, I thought intakes were a pipe dream for ricers who wanted cool looking engine bays. It's like having a whole new car.
