Default Looks like I don't have any of you

Not my fault, I promise! I wasn't the one taking the pictures.

That's Noah driving with the passenger.

Default Bastage! Meh, just post a few of Jeff W and photochop the number.

Lots of folks have trouble telling the two cars apart. Not sure if either one of us should be insulted or not - lol

Default Me indeed - thanks for the shots!

Rare that I'm flying solo, too. Was that last session yesterday? I think I had a passenger every other time out...

Note the body english required to get the GT up the hill!

Default Thanks for the compliments - more car than I can handle for now, but I'd like to try some more!

You can always request instructors, if you so choose - sometimes it works out for you. I'd be happy to give it a go next time out.

I'm not sure if Jay counted how many times I said "This is such an incredible car" or not, he may have been distracted by my giddy school-girl like laughing.

Default There was one at a PDA event I did in April at LRP.

He was parked next to me in the paddock and in my run group so we ended up talking a lot. He had just traded up from a Z06 Corvette and was not fast in the Atom at all. He said it was totally different than the Corvette and the adjustment was huge. He said that it's a really fun car but it is alot harder to drive than he expected.

He was not, however, complaining at all.

Default That pretty much sums it up.

Other than my stomach problems that seem to surface only when I go to a track event, I had a great time and really enjoyed talking with everyone over the 2 days. I caught onto this track really fast and was soloed off by my instructor, Bruce Wiggett Jr. the second day. Even though he soloed me off, I took out Alan Bellavance for a ride so that I may learn from his expertise. I would have asked Carter to go for a ride but a lot of people were already in line...he's a popular guy! (and he is a damn good instructor, I had him at the Glen last year)

Basically, Bruce wanted me to be nicer to the people I come up behind while on the track instead of riding their bumpers till they give me the point by. Most did get the point, but it seems passing etiquette was very lacking in the white group. Train central! This was noted by Alan (riding with me at the time), who notified Glenn at a pit in. I'd come up behind people, and for some reason they would think "I'll lose him on the straight!" and I'd be right back on them at the end of big bend. Rather than get angry about it, I'd just pit in and ask the pit out person to let me out when I'd have some room.

There were a couple of other people in my group that I think should have been in a lower group, they did some very unpredictable things while on the track and almost caused a few incidents, luckily nothing happened because of it.

If anybody got any pictures of my car (the only Red GTI in attendance, moreso the only one towing a trailer) I'd love to get some. My camera had the "Focus Error" message of death. :-(

Hope to see all you guys at the Glen in August! Back to red group for me! :-) (I love the Glen!)

Default I'll get you for a ride next time, or perhaps at Temblant....perhaps with MORE POWER.

If you're interested in a ride, catch up with me early on - you're correct, that right seat fills quickly. If you want to witness some great driving in a coupe GT, though, Rick Williams is who you want to be with.
