Default Paging Pan Mass Challenge riders...dawint, bulldogg, urs6ma, others...

Would you guys be interested in doing a PMC training ride/GTG some time in the next month?

I've been getting out every weekend, and OCCASSIONALLY on a weekday. But the excuse list always gets too long for a Weds/Thurs afternoon ride. And most have been solo excursions of 25-45miles. Not much fun.

So I started thinking, "What better way to go for a ride than to plan one with some like-minded individuals?" If it's in the calendar, it's more likely to happen.

I figure we could make a list of who is in, pick a central location, then pick a 90 minute ride in that area for after work some day. I'm not talking about crazy 20+ mph training. More like 16-17 (my speed!) and a beer/pizza after at a place that encourages sweaty guys in biking shorts.

I'm in Needham, not too far from the PMC's Wellesley ride starting point. I can lead a 25miler....But also have bike rack, & will travel.

Default absolutely I'm in there .... I need to get in some back to backs @40+ however ........

check out The Cycling Site for scheduled training rides ... there are some great rides out there. I would be willing to host a ride from my place in Sharon. Bay Road out to Easton thru Mansfield is a good ride @ 25 miles .... I'm planning on riding this Saturday ... lets keep in touch thru this post. *tracked*

http://www.snapper.net/cycling/login.php</a

Default Thanks for the URL. Will check the site.

I can't make next 2 Saturdays. Family commitments. But I can do a weekday next week (except the 4th).

NE1 else?

Default I've done about 7-8 MS150's. Do I qualify for the group?

Default SeeksAR timidly checks his thread....

Wow! You guys are all out of my league if you are riding 18's and 19's.

I slammed down the laptop with gusto and hopped on the bike around home last night at 6pm for a quickie before dinner. Pulled hard to do 17 for 18 miles. Not feeling too bad though.

After next week, I'd like to try a Phat Tues ride.
