Pioneer -AVIC-D3 perfect for audi!...I just thought i would post this up
I am going to be purchasing the above unit, current price on it is $1000.00 but i have been able to find a dealer who is willing to part with them for $900.00...this unit is the same one featured in CES with the adjustable illumination colors, i beleive there is a new write up in the tech section,,,THIS IS HOT and a must for anyone doing a double din upgrade for there audis..oh yeah also built in NAV! I am picking mine up next week, if anyone is interested in it, please email me at kalpesh.k.patel@gmail.com

Check out the AVIC-Z1 (or now the Z2) as well.
You get a Hard Disk Drive based NAV, DVD video playback, multiple extra inputs/outputs including backup camera and back seat monitor and aux A/V.
Every time you insert a music CD into the unit, it rips it to the internal HDD.
You can also buy Pioneer modules to support BlueTooth, XM and/or Serius, iPod adapter, TV Tuner (not worth the price), and extra CD or DVD changer.
Of course, the downside is you'll spend $2K to get all the goodies, instead of $1K.
I put one in my wife's Toyota. I'm still on the fence between the RSN-E and the AVIC-Z1. for the allroad.

yeah $2gs is way to much, for what i am looking to do, you get the blue tooth interface for $180
a backup camera is like $100 so at 1100 i am pretty good, the HDD is neat to have, but not worth the extra $1000...if i was looking to spend that kind, then i would go with the eclipse, or better yet, go with the alpine w205 for $800 and the new black bird for $549, that way i have a portable GPS aswell
