<center><img src="http://images17.fotki.com/v349/photos/6/63846/4131709/IMG_0087-vi.jpg?1160500124"></center><p>After two days drive from Ohio, I got back in time yesterday for a quick wash of the latest addition to the driveway.

Nearing his 80th birthday, my Dad decided that he didn't want to keep holding onto his well preserved '85 635csi. It was a gift to himself to raise his spirits a year after my mom passed away and somehow it meant something to me to keep it in the family. It's my first time owning anything from BMW, though I'll admit I've always loved the look of the big coupes. For an almost 22 year old car it was an absolute beast chewing up highway miles and rock solid at any speed.

So now the Audis have to share a little space with one of those "other" German cars, but I don't think they'll mind.

They are getting very rare. I hardly see but a few every year.<ul><li><a href="http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/cars/displaycar.aspx?seq=56">http://www.boston-bmwcca.org/cars/displaycar.aspx?seq=56</a</li></ul>

Default congrats!

at that age, in that condition is truly a gem. theres something about the classic BMWs, they have their own character, their own personality. keep it in great shape, those are few and far between!

Default A nice addition to saddle, indeed.

There's an almost mint 850 for sale near me, that taunts me every time I drive by it. It is a truly beautiful car...
