tranny is leaking tranny fluid from top end of tranny, shop says the tranny
threw a msg, tranny lock...can anyone help me out as to what this might mean? its a 1999 a4 1.8t 155K
they have said most likly its the torque converter and need u tranny
any words of wisdom?

he did the car up saw the leek, but indicated we cant be 100% sure until the
tranny comes out, but there are no hoses up there, and the tranny did shoot a code, that would indicate tranny torque conveter is locking, the car did stall when going around a bend...he also said that inorder to see if its beyond the gasket, they would have to pull the tranny out...
