I have a 1997 audi A6 and the shifter is very hard to move from one gear to another . When I put it in Park it does not always release the key I have to pull up on the **** and sometimes keep trying to move it from gear to gear . It also will not always start in park. I have removed the cover and the shifter goes all the way to left . Can someone please help me figure this out the ignition works fine and it moves smoothly when the cover is off . thank you
