Default ABS binding brakes

Audi A3 / 8V (2014)…..Cut a long story short…. Binding brakes and turns out to be a stuck valve in ABS block. My question is … is it ok to keep the electronics and just change to a different block that has come out from a same model vehicle? I guess the only problem is whether the ABS pump motor is in some way linked through VIN coding, etc.

Thanks in advance…..
