Default Hello (new guy here)

I recently acquired a B6 S4. My first Audi, owned Porsche before. I have read people having similar problems I am having with the driver window/mirror function. The window and mirror control have quit working but all other windows are functional. My question is about the black box/brain attached to the driver window motor itself. Is this the brain that controls the function of window and mirror motor?
Thanks to anyone in advance for your help!

Hey there!

Usually, the answer to this question is yes, that is the brain that controls the function of windows and mirror motors, but, to get a definite answer you would have to take your vehicle to a dealership and do a wire diagram and confirm this.

Hope this helps a little!

Thank you! I assumed I was on target and ordered a unit. I'm too busy with work and I've not been able to get car to dealer since its 25 min away. I'm so frustrated with not being able to roll driver window down I bit the bullet and pray I'm not wrong. I will post results. Thanks again.
