New member from CT, looking for info on which manual model to buy
Hello everyone,
I have always been a fan of Audi, but for other reasons that don't really matter I have always bought Fords my whole life. Now my current car is getting tired, and since Ford has basically dropped all cars to make SUVs, I can finally switch to Audi.
With that out of the way, I need some input from Audi enthusiasts that just know more about the models than I do, please help point me in the right way.
I am looking to get either an A4, A5, S4 or S5.
The biggest requirement for me is it MUST be a true manual transmission.
What years and engines are the best for the above mentioned models?
Are there some specific options that you would consider "must haves"?
Any input you have is welcome, thank you in advance.

Last year in North America for new Audi's with manuals was 2018 so you will be looking for used in model years 2018 or earlier. The S models may have stopped manuals in 2016 though not 100% sure of that. I just bought a 2017 A4 Technik with 27,000km (it's our Canadian model) and AUDI USA told me there were 877 A4 manual shift sold in 2017 and probably a little less in 2018. Audi manual shift are becoming quite rare so may take you a bit of time to find the combo you are wanting. Only you can define what are your must have options - review the model guide here

to determine what things are of most interest to you.
