Default '89-90 200 Quattro turbo - inline 5, 10 valve motor. May be able to find a '91 200 turbo 20 valve...

but probably not for less than $5K.

What's the fastest car you've raced so far?

Default What was the outcome?

From a roll...I highly doubt that your wagon can pull on a e46 over 80.

But hey...who knows.....lets just hope it does not blow up during the romp on the Bimmer.

= )

Default it was from a stop. and i pwnt him by a carlength+ up to 60.

this was off a stoplight on Hopyard, so i couldn't quite go *****-out. i did a rare perfect launch, chirped the tires and took off.

btw, an e46m3 is only 333/262. and i'm ballpark 400/400. yes, he's lighter, but not THAT much lighter. oh, and the fact that they have no power below 4000rpm compensates nicely for my turbo lag.

you haven't been in the avant. you dont know how brutal it can be. i'd be glad to give you a demo sometime.

Default well, if i keep it above 3500rpm, there is no lag

it goes from -14mmHG to 26psi almost instantly. feels like warp drive kicking in.

on the other hand, if i'm at, say 2500rpm, the acceleration is more like a ferengi garbage freighter.

so, that said, my rpm range is a bit narrower than yours, but k03's also run out of steam at about 5800 rpm, and i can go to redline.
