i had been quoted $750 for the labor, fair or not?

depends how much they bend you for the parts. $1100 - $1500 round these parts . . .

Don't bring your own parts. Throw them a bone or two or they won't be around for long . . .

Default That's the going rate. Use their parts so you have some recourse if something goes wrong.

I think the warranty is 1 year.
