Default Precision Car Stereo! Probably one of the top 3 in Nor Cal.

They to top notch work, and you will pay top notch too. But rest assured that if you want just a new HU or you go all out with fiberglass and plexi and all the bells, whistles and lights you won't be let down on the quality of the install. They do installs for players on the 49ers, Raiders, Giants, A's etc... Last time I was there they where putting a system in Terrell Owens G500 and 24" rims (I actually saw him there). I was told the rims and tires alone cost over 20k!!!

If you click the link on the bottome "my a4" you can find pictures of my install there.

Hope this helps.

Well the "over 20k" for 24's is bs. But I believe your testimony.

Default Umm, negative. Avoid them like the plague

I have a few issues:

1) the originally installed Focals and an amp for me, running of my stock HU, back in 2001 when I bought my car. No major complaints, but it always sounded a little POORER than I thought it should have. Flash forward to a couple years later when I had a new HU put in: another installer showed me the doors: NO sealant around the woofers, they punctured one of them by mounting it incorrectly, and the CEMENTED the tweeters into my doors - permanently. They will not come out.

2) Before I found all that damage, I took the new HU back to Precision to do the install. Dropped the car off, came back later and not only could they not figure out the wiring, but they plexiglass cutout they fitted around the HU looked like a 4th grader made it with rounded scissors. It was abhorrent. I took my car, my HU, and didn't pay them a dime.

Having been through all that, I finally found an installer I like a lot - Audiomobile in downtown Oakland (11th St, I think). Good rates, quality work, nice guys. They remounted my speakers (and sealed them), got the HU working, and tuned the system, all for a pretty good price.

Avoid Precision; they may have fancy cars in their shop, but they fVcked my install up royally.

Default It sounds like you went to them when they were on El Camino. (m)

They had some disgruntled installers back then. They have since moved and aquired a few new installers and the old ones left to start their own shop. My install was clean, with no problems. There are a couple of pictures of them in my pic poster. I would def go back. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.
