I got real lucky once..........
got a tik for parking in a crosswalk (which was bs) took pics and described my concern that maybe I was in a yellow zone. But in a crosswalk "I'm not stupid".
The issue was if my car was blocking the view of a handicapped person or not as they may have entered the crosswalk.
Turns out the one-way direction of traffic was in my favor. Hearing also went in my favor ($270.00 tik). At the end she pushed herself from the window and to my amazement in a wheelchair.
My jaw dropped.
Congrats on yer victory wnut.
This story of mine is one of many. And they useally win. (dem dpt bastards)

me too...
got a $270 ticket for blocking a wheelchair ramp on a corner in North Beach/Russian Hill. But when I went to pay it online, I realized the meter maid missed my license plate by a digit - replacing a 0 with an 8 - so I had no outstanding ticket issued for my car. w00t!
