Ok, 20 bucks to get in because of "security reasons" people stealing stuff in the past, etc...
OR free viewing from outside, i.e. some overlook by "Derek Daily's free-good" whatever that is, which apparently has a lot of room etc.
I will try to figure this out some more with him down the line.
In the meantime, who's been there and who can shed light on this supposed overlook?
thanks!

From what I read on Ronal's site about the DE, you guys have $89/night rates at the Hilton for the
event.
Basically, I think it's going to go like this. People who will be going out there primarily for the DE will be following that route and plans, while those of us going out there to have a good time will follow what we forum members decide what to do.
We will meet somewhere along the way, overlooking the track at the big lot above, etc...not sure yet.
Gary@ronal invited the g2g group for dinner at the hilton, and to participate in the DE raffle, but at this point, I think a track g2g of a couple hours is more than plenty for the social crowd.
As always, we can meet at restaurants/clubs like we did last year.
Will keep you guys updated as I learn more.

No, but you guys have your own events, so it'll be up to you which you choose to do, etc.
Ours will be more of a hanging out with some track g2g in the parking lot over looking the speedway on that sat most likely. The rest of the time we'll be doing our own thing, then meeting up at night at various clubs etc. Probably get a restaurant g2g in there as well.
