anyone here do a rear diff fluid change yet? miles? which oil did you use?

i changed mine out around 100K when i flushed out my tranny fluid....Used Motul 300 for both.

Mine was done when the rear diff seal was leaking. That was about 30,000 miles ago.

i use lucas in my transmission for my quad and the gears and shift forks always look new when i take the motor apart.

ive run other oils and have seen burns in my transmission shafts and forks along with visible wear on the gears. clutch engagement was rougher as well

ive run amsoil as well with same as expected qualities as lucas but when i built that motor i happen to have lucas sythetic sitting in a crate, so that motor always gets lucas for the gears etc

...And it was done by dealer, so what ever Audi recommends in terms of fluid.
